Lan Kwai Fong, Hong Kong's popular nightlife district, is expected to see a 20-25% increase in business on Halloween compared to last year, according to Allan Zeman, chairman of the Lan Kwai Fong Group. Zeman attributes the forecast to an improving business environment and Halloween falling on a Friday. The area is expected to be crowded with costumed revellers, with many venues fully booked. Police have imposed special traffic arrangements to manage the crowds.
