Russia Accuses Ukraine of Assassination Attempt

Russia has identified three suspects involved in the shooting of Lt Gen Vladimir Alexeyev, a high-ranking military figure. The suspects include Lyubomir Korba, a Ukrainian-born Russian citizen accused of carrying out the attack, Viktor Vasin, who has been arrested and charged, and Zinaida Serebritskaya, who has fled to Ukraine. Korba allegedly arrived in Moscow in late December on assignment from Ukrainian intelligence services to commit a terrorist attack.
