Multiple violent incidents reported in US cities

A man has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon after driving his car into a crowd outside a nightclub in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, injuring 30 people. The incident occurred at 02:00 local time on Saturday when a line of people were waiting to enter the venue. The driver, who was shot by an assailant during the incident, is believed to have been intoxicated and made a U-turn before ramming into the crowd. Seven people were in critical condition and six were in serious condition on Saturday night. The Los Angeles Mayor described the incident as a "heartbreaking tragedy" and a full investigation is underway.

A 54-year-old Queens man stabbed his 41-year-old wife and 2-year-old daughter to death with a kitchen knife before attempting to take his own life. The victims were taken to hospitals where they were pronounced dead, while the suspect is in critical condition. Neighbors reported hearing no arguments and described the suspect as singing in the shower earlier that day, suggesting he was acting normally before the violent incident.

A 24-year-old man was slashed by a knife-wielding individual at a NYC subway station, but the victim and his friend chased the attacker, grabbed his knife, and stabbed him in the chest. The initial attacker was pronounced dead, while the 24-year-old was in stable condition at Bellevue Hospital.
